Brilliant or "Brilliant"...

Inspired by a true story...

At the start of school, Alex saw this girl from across the room. He was mesmerised by her beauty but he was not the type of guy to go up to a girl and ask her phone number and by statistics show with his appearance and being in Singapore that type of gesture is sure to fail. However he was determine to find out her name and even find a chance to get her phone number. So he played it cool, and he finally found an opening. Apparently, in school this girl is quite close to a few of her classmates. So his plan was, make friends with her classmates and sooner or later, he will have her personal information. His plan actually work, although her classmate was so irritating he endured, and sure enough he gotten the girl's name. It was Iris. However, it took him a year for that. Another year later, Iris actually added him on the live messenger. He was through the roof. He knows his plan was working so he stuck to it and sure enough few weeks later, Iris gave Alex her handphone number. Now, Alex have the chance to be closer to Iris even though it took 2 whole years. But there was something that Alex did not plan on. Iris was in love with another guy and Alex was heartbroken. He knew all his work was for nothing and he was stuck with that classmate of hers. Irritating. So he tried to move on, but he could not stop thinking of Iris. What's worse, is that everytime he meets that classmate of hers who happen to be his friend by now, she is there.
Alex made use of his "friend" to get to Iris. I salute him because his plan actually worked but he wasted 2 years and now he is feeling the pain everytime he sees her. How can you forget something you see everyday. He pretends not to see her not to acknowledge her but the cut just keeps getting deeper and deeper. With added bonus, he is stuck with an irritating guy as a friend. Alex keep telling me that it is only a year left before graduation and he wouldn't see her anymore. One year takes a long time to fly especially if you are suffering. So what's the moral of the story? Well, I have my own theory but you can have your own...

Thanks for reading...
